Welcome to The Wellness Wave. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, programs, events, resources, and related services.

By accessing our website, submitting a form, registering for a program or event, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you are registering a minor, you confirm that you are the participant’s parent or legal guardian and have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

ABOUT THE WELLNESS WAVE

The Wellness Wave creates welcoming spaces where girls can move their bodies, nurture their mental well-being, build confidence, and connect with a supportive community.

Our programs and resources are intended to support general wellness and personal development. They are not a substitute for professional medical care, mental health treatment, diagnosis, or emergency support.

ELIGIBILITY AND PARENTAL CONSENT

Some programs, events, or services may be designed for participants under 18. A parent or legal guardian may be required to complete registration, provide consent, sign participation documents, and submit necessary information on behalf of a minor.

By registering a minor, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to make decisions on the participant’s behalf.

PROGRAM AND EVENT REGISTRATION

Registration may be required to participate in certain programs, workshops, events, or activities. You agree to provide complete and accurate information and to update us if that information changes.

Participation may also require the completion of separate waivers, emergency contact forms, medical information forms, photography releases, or other consent documents. Those documents will apply in addition to these Terms.

We reserve the right to establish age requirements, participation limits, safety expectations, and other eligibility criteria for each program.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Participation in movement and wellness activities may involve physical exertion and certain inherent risks. Participants should only take part in activities that are appropriate for their individual health, abilities, and comfort level.

Before participating, a parent or legal guardian should inform The Wellness Wave of any relevant allergies, injuries, medical conditions, physical limitations, mental health concerns, or accommodation needs.

Participants should stop an activity and notify a staff member immediately if they experience pain, dizziness, difficulty breathing, emotional distress, or another concerning symptom.

When appropriate, participants should consult a physician, licensed mental health professional, or other qualified provider before beginning a new physical or wellness activity.

EMERGENCIES AND MEDICAL CARE

If a participant experiences an emergency and a parent or legal guardian cannot be reached, The Wellness Wave may contact emergency services or seek reasonable assistance when necessary to protect the participant’s health or safety.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for any costs associated with emergency transportation, medical evaluation, or treatment unless otherwise required by law.

NOT MEDICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT

Information provided through our website, social media, programs, events, or educational materials is for general informational and wellness purposes only.

The Wellness Wave does not provide medical diagnoses, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, or individualized medical or mental health treatment unless expressly stated and delivered by an appropriately licensed professional.

Never disregard professional medical or mental health advice because of information provided by The Wellness Wave. If you or someone else is experiencing an emergency or is in immediate danger, call 911 or the appropriate emergency service.

COMMUNITY STANDARDS

We are committed to maintaining a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment. Participants and website users may not:

• Bully, harass, threaten, discriminate against, or intimidate others
• Use hateful, abusive, sexual, or inappropriate language
• Disrupt programs, events, or community activities
• Share another participant’s private information without permission
• Photograph or record participants without authorization
• Engage in unsafe, unlawful, or harmful behavior
• Misuse our website, forms, accounts, or communication channels

We may remove a participant from a program or event, restrict access to services, or take other reasonable action when these standards are violated or when behavior creates a safety concern.

FEES, PAYMENTS, AND REFUNDS

Certain programs, events, or services may require payment. Prices, payment deadlines, refund terms, and cancellation policies will be provided during registration or at the time of purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, registration is not confirmed until payment has been successfully received.

Payments may be processed through a third-party payment provider. Your use of that provider may be subject to its separate terms and privacy policy.

CANCELLATIONS AND PROGRAM CHANGES

The Wellness Wave may reschedule, modify, or cancel a program or event because of weather, safety concerns, low enrollment, instructor availability, venue changes, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If we cancel a paid program or event, we will communicate the available refund, credit, or rescheduling options. We are not responsible for unrelated expenses, including transportation, lodging, or other costs incurred by participants.

PHOTO AND VIDEO CONTENT

We may photograph or record certain programs and events for educational, community, or promotional purposes only when appropriate permission has been obtained.

For participants under 18, a parent or legal guardian may be asked to complete a separate media release. Completing a general registration form does not automatically grant permission unless the form clearly states otherwise.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The content available through The Wellness Wave, including our name, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, videos, written materials, program materials, and website design, is owned by or licensed to The Wellness Wave and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use our publicly available materials for personal, noncommercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, modify, sell, distribute, publish, or commercially use our content without prior written permission.

USER SUBMISSIONS

If you submit feedback, testimonials, photographs, written content, or other materials, you confirm that you have the right to share them and that they do not violate another person’s rights.

We will obtain appropriate permission before using identifiable participant content for promotional purposes.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, social media platforms, registration tools, payment processors, or other services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or privacy practices.

Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

WEBSITE AVAILABILITY

We strive to keep our website and online services accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that all content will always be current, complete, or error-free.

We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the website or our services at any time.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
